Pacific Music Awards 2018 finalists announced

The finalists for this year's Pacific Music Awards have been announced at a special ceremony in Auckland.

Berlin-based Tongan Noah Slee (formerly known as Tau Manukia from Spacifix) leads with four nominations off the back of his debut album Otherland.

General Fiyah is back for another year for Best Music Video, Best Pacific Song and Best Pacific Male Artist for his latest single Here To Stay featuring Three Houses Down.

R'n'B singer RAZÉ is also a finalist, for the very first time, for the Best Pacific Female Artist award.

Pacific Music Awards Trust spokesperson Rev. Mua Strickson-Pua says the talents on display continues to build momentum from previous years.

"The Vodafone Pacific Music Awards have celebrated Pacific excellence in music for 14 years. I'm always inspired at the impressive unique material our finalists bring out each year."

The awards will be held on May 24 at the Vodafone Events Centre in Auckland.
