Tributes are pouring in from all over the world following the passing of All Black legend Sir Colin Meads.
The towering 81-year-old, known in rugby folklore as Pinetree, played 133 tests as an All Black between 1957 and 1971.
Former All Black Brian Williams says Pinetree came from a crop of outstanding rugby legends who set the benchmark for All Black rugby.
"I grew up idolising him and his team mates," he says. "They were wonderful role models not only on the rugby field but just the way they lived their lives. They did so much good for their community and he was an absolute hero."
