New Zealand basketball legend Pero Cameron has made history, having been inducted into the International Basketball Federation Hall of Fame at a ceremony in Switzerland on Saturday night.

His induction caps a 17-year career which included nine New Zealand Championships as a player, two more as coach, two Olympic campaigns and three World Championships.
His family and friends took the celebrations by surprise with an impromptu haka in Cameron's honour, as the first Kiwi to enter FIBA's Hall of Fame.
"I'm a little overwhelmed now," says Cameron. "I'm sure there'll be a lot more Kiwis to be inducted."
